Choosing conveyor rollers starts with the working condition, not only with roller diameter or price. The right roller affects belt tracking, running resistance, noise, maintenance frequency and conveyor uptime.
For heavy-duty belt systems, confirm belt width, material handled, conveying capacity, installation position and operating environment first. Dust, moisture, impact load, belt speed and maintenance access can all change the suitable roller structure.
Key parameters include roller diameter, roller length, shaft diameter, shell thickness, bearing model, seal type, surface treatment and load requirement. If the roller is used in a return section, impact zone or trough carrying section, that should also be stated.
